Larry Byrom joins the project

Larry Byrom
Long time Steppenwolf fans from around the world are already very familiar
with Larry's work with the Wolf....but just as a reminder, here's a
list of his efforts already captured on previous recordings:

Steppenwolf Albums:
(Guitars & vocals)

  • MONSTER (1970)
  • STEPPENWOLF LIVE (1971)
  • STEPPENWOLF 7 (1971)
Steppenwolf Songs:
(Written or co-written-
listed alphabetically)

  • BALL CRUSHER
  • DRAFT RESISTER
  • EARSCHPLITTENLOUDENBOOMER
  • FAG
  • FAT JACK
  • FOGGY MENTAL BREAKDOWN
  • HEY LAWDY MAMA
  • HIPPO STOMP
  • MONSTER
  • RENEGADE
  • WHO NEEDS YA

The above body of work obviously speaks for itself, but since his days with Steppenwolf, Larry has become one of Nashville's 'first call' guitarists, and just within the last year or so, he has worked extensively with producer Don Was, and appears on the latest recordings from Deana Carter, Travis Tritt, and the newest duet with Bob Seeger and Martina Mcbride. In addition, he is producing a brand new CD from recording artist Allyson Taylor (a project that is very close to his heart.....Allyson is Larry's wife). Besides all the studio work, Larry is currently on tour with Peter Frampton, (playing keyboards, guitar, and adding vocals) and he sat in with us two days after this session when we shared a bill with Heart & Peter Frampton in Moncton, New Brunswick and Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada. Click
